CINO ZUCCHI: ITALY. A CONTEMPORARY LANDSCAPE
In English (subtitles available)
This conference took place in Luxembourg on 26 March 2015, and it was organized by LUCA in collaboration with the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Italy.
During this lecture, Cino Zucchi – founder of CZA Cino Zucchi Architetti – presents a selection of projects, such as the Keski Pasila masterplan in Helsinki, the ex Alfa Romeo-Portello in Milan, the former industrial areas of the ex-Junghans in Venice or the National Automobile Museum in Turin. The office goal is to combine innovation and research with professional completeness, capable of responding to complex programs at any scale.
Cino Zucchi is an architect born in Milan. He earned a BSAD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1978 and a Laurea in Architettura at the Politecnico di Milano in 1979, where he is currently Chair Professor of Architectural and Urban Design. His practice considers each new project as a unique challenge that has to find its own character through an intense discussion with the client and a deep perception of the location, and we think the design is taking full responsibility for the metamorphosis of today’s human and natural environments.
